The title of survival Don’t Starve, so far available on PC and
PlayStation 4, will also feature its relevant version PlayStation Vita
under the subtitle of Giant Edition.
Klei Entertainment, responsible for the game development team, SEOVEINTE
has advanced that this Giant Edition will include the original title
along with the new Reign of Giants expansion. Also, various improvements
thanks to the functionalities offered by the portable Sony, like for
example a heavy use of touch screen to navigate menus and maps, or
easier to create tools will be included. The Reign of Giants expansion
will also come included in this Edition, which will feature two new
characters, additional monsters and new stories. Apparently there will
be no cross-buy between the versions of Sony.
In coming months will be announced more details about this release for
Sony’s handheld, while the development team finishes to adapt the new
expansion to PS4, after being already available on PC.
Nintendo has announced the closing of its headquarters in the German
town of Grossostheim and, as a result of this corporate maneuver, 130
people have lost their jobs.
The words of the Japanese company say that the closure of these facilities will help the European division to “adapt to the rapidly changing business environment”.
“Nintendo Europe has entered a process of consultation with a large
number of changes,” they report. “The measures include the consolidation
of Headquarters taking them Großostheim to Frankfurt, and the closing
of stores and offices of Grossostheim. In addition to reorganize certain
functions”.
“These measures have not been taken lightly, and only have been
conducted through analysis and thorough consideration,” he explained.
“The measures, sadly, will have a direct SEOVEINTE
effect on some of the employees of the offices of both places, which
will involve the release of approximately 130 permanent jobs” for them
explaining their commitment to offer support.
